Most hand-held cameras are built 'landscape': that is, if you hold them in the way that is most comfortable and natural, they give you a picture in a horizontal format, and if you want a picture in 'portrait' (vertical) format you have to turn them on their side.
This is a module about using the two orientations creatively -- with more than a nod, too, to the square format, and a certain amount about formats and cropping. Fourteen illustrations, eight mono, one hand-coloured, five colour.
