Photo School

The Photo School is something between a book, a magazine, an encyclopaedia and a self-teaching course. It is made up of numerous modules, some free, some paid for.

Door, Loches

The lens was a modestly priced 90/3.5 Voigtlander Apo Lanthar; the film, commercially processed Ilford XP2 Super. The camera: we're not sure. Probably a Voigtlander Bessa-R2, but it might have been a Leica M4-P. The Apo Lanthar behaves equally well on both. We do however know that the print (by Frances; Roger took the picture) is on Ilford Multigrade Warmtone.

Yes, we often use more expensive gear. Considering we've been shooting for around 40 years (Roger) and over 20 years (Frances), it would be surprising if we hadn't picked up some good kit. But practice and a good eye matter more than equipment.
